Who looks after your information
Jovanni Shot It operates this photography and videography website.
The studio has not yet supplied a public privacy contact email. Contact Jovanni through the channel used to arrange your shoot.
What we use and why
Quote enquiries include your name, email, shoot requirements, chosen date, location, brief and estimated price. We use these to respond to your request and take steps towards a contract. There is no marketing mailing list or sale of client details in this website.
Client galleries include names, email addresses, photographs, videos and favourites. Client sign-in uses Supabase to process your email, password credentials and session. The site receives a verified client identifier so we can provide and protect your private gallery. Delivering booked work relies on our contract with the client; preventing misuse and protecting access relies on our legitimate interests in operating a secure service.
Identifiable people in photographs and videos may not be the contracting client. The lawful basis and permissions for recording and publishing them must be assessed for each shoot. Portfolio use is separate from private delivery; contact the studio if you have a concern about an image or film.
Short-lived request counters use time-windowed hashes derived from the hosting edge’s IP address and are removed after their window has expired for a day. Owner actions are logged for access management and investigating problems. These safeguards support our legitimate interests in protecting client information.
Who helps run the service
The site uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting, database and file storage. ChatGPT supplies studio admin sign-in. Supabase supplies client email-and-password authentication when configured. If you request postcode-based travel pricing, the starting and destination postcodes are sent to Postcodes.io for a distance estimate; your name, email and brief are not sent to that lookup service.
Google Fonts is used to load typefaces, so your browser connects to Google and shares connection information such as your IP address. We have not added analytics, advertising or marketing trackers. The hosting and sign-in services may use necessary cookies or storage to operate authentication. Client sessions use a necessary, secure cookie and expire after up to an hour. Unfinished upload identifiers are stored locally in the owner’s browser; the original files are not stored there by this uploader.
These providers have their own privacy information. The studio must review its provider agreements and any international transfer safeguards applicable to its account; this notice does not promise that all processing takes place in the UK.
Retention and access
The studio’s review periods are 90 days for enquiries and 365 days for galleries. They trigger a manual review, not automatic deletion. Information may need to be kept longer for an ongoing project, agreed gallery delivery, accounting obligations or legal claims; the studio should tell you the applicable retention period when arranging your shoot. Unfinished uploads expire for resumption after six days.
Private galleries are restricted to their assigned account and the studio owner. Files deliberately published in the portfolio can be accessed by anyone. Copies previously downloaded by a recipient cannot be recalled by deleting a gallery.
Your rights and concerns
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to use of your personal data. Where consent is used, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful use. The studio may need to verify your identity before releasing records. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
